When he died he had a small son & his young wife was expecting their 2nd baby. This account ends 1870 when most of the estate was sold, to settle a claim from a descendent. 268 pages including index. Illustrated with 7 b. & w. portraits & paintings, and facsimiles of letters. Near fine except the bottom corners are bumped, & a bookplate on the f.e.p.
